This is a 10 week workshop based upon the DBT practices of mindfulness. When we are mindful, we are able to stay in the moment, and focus on using our five senses to calm our fears and other uncomfortable emotions. This workshop teaches a person to understand both internal and external feelings by learning to stop and focus on breathing and calming the mind. Guided imagery is taught to help ease the mind and focus on remaining calm and in the moment.
